The Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team (O.V.E.R.T.) Inc, relies on the generosity of public and corporate citizens for funding. OVERT current receives no regular funding from government sources, as such the support and donations that we receive from the members of the public and corporate communities is of tremendous benefit.

Baagwating Community Association and the Mississaugas of Scugog First Nation
For the past several years the Baagwating Community Association as been a valuable supporter of OVERT. The Scugog First Nation is a small aboriginal community located just outside of the Greater Toronto Area. As on of the smallest First Nations in Canada, the Mississaugas has over come numerous obstacles and continue to grow and thrive. This growth and perseverance has come due to the determination and progressive attitude that will ensure the continued success of the community.
The community is dynamic and development has occurred at a tremendous rate over the last ten years. The Great Blue Heron Charity Casino is the central business venture providing strong economic development and future success for the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

OVERT has been partnered with the Brooklin Spring Fair. Together the Fair Association and OVERT operate and manage the Bavarian tent, offering guests cold beverages with music and entertainment.
The Brooklin Spring Fair has been a active fixture of the Durham Region community since 1911. The spring fair continues to support and promote the importance of Agriculture through education and interaction. A wonderful example of this is the invitation only Education Day program which is designed reinforce curriculum and allow children the opportunity to apply there learning in real world situations. This program educates children about the agricultural community in Durham by providing them with interactive displays, and the chance to meet local farmers.
