The Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team (OVERT) Inc. holds bi-monthly Team Meetings and monthly Senior Operations meetings, in addition to an Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members of OVERT are required to attend 4 of the 6 bi-monthly team meetings, as well as the AGM.
Monthly Team Meetings
Team Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday every second month throughout the year. These meetings are intended to provide information to active members of the organization about upcoming trainings and community events. Team Meetings are also used to discuss recent activities and deployments, as well as provide ongoing training to team members
Senior Operations Meetings
Senior Ops meetings are held on a monthly basis, and are used to plan the operations and direction of the organization. Activities such as recruiting, training, fundraising, and personnel are addressed at these meetings.
Annual General Meeting
The annual general meeting is held for the purposes of voting on Board of Director positions, bi-law amendments, and the operational budget. The AGM is held in addition to other team meetings.
