Incident Command

The Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team (OVERT) Inc. is frequently called upon to assist local emergency services during major incidents. On deployments OVERT functions under the direction of the lead agency (local Police Service), these agencies provide the direction and aim of the given deployment. With this information members of OVERT’s Incident Command develop search and deployment strategies that will best achieve these goals of the lead agency.
