Auxiliary

The Auxiliary Unit is comprised of members who are energetic, and want to help the team in an non-operational way. The Auxiliary members fundraise funds for OVERT to help meet our budget every year. Some of these events include: our annual golf tournament, the Brooklin Spring Fair Beer Tent and many more activities. The unit also looks after organizing members to attend Community Days in different cities to help promote our team to protential new recruits and also different community groups.

The Auxiliary Unit is an excellent way to see how our team works from an inside view. We are activily recruiting auxiliary members who are willing to participate in the administration side of the team. The following are the requirements to become an auxiliary member:

1.) 18 years of age
2.) At least a G2 class licence
3.) Valid First Aid
4.) Grade 12 diploma or equivilant
5.) A recent Police Background Check
